HIGHLAND MEMBERS' CENTRE

The Highland Members' Centre has several speaker meetings during the year, day outings in summer to localities of interest and a St. Andrew's Day luncheon. Meetings are held at different venues around Inverness and Nairn.

- Wednesday 6th November 2024 at 2.30 pm.
- Zoom talk by Calum MacPherson, CEO of the Inverness & Cromarty Firth Green Freeport, on the Freeport's vision for the future.
- Saturday 30th November 2024 at 12.30 for 1.00 pm.
- St Andrew's Day lunch. 12.30 for 1.00 pm, Drumossie Hotel, Inverness.
Speaker: Clea Warner, NTS Regional Director for the Highland and Islands. - Tuesday 10th December 2024 at 7.30 pm.
- Zoom talk by Kevin Ball, Head Gardener at Inverewe, on recent activities at the Garden, in particular work on developing the border that surrounds Inverewe House.
- Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at 7.30 pm.
- Zoom talk by Mary Dawn Mohun, High Life Highland's Engagement and Communications Officer for the Inverness Castle project, will give an update on the ongoing work to transform Inverness Castle into a new visitor attraction, due to open latewr this year, celebrationg the "Spirit of the Highlands" through its stories of past, present and future.
